Wilton Prebyterian Church shares a beautiful wooded site with St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. Each church has its own sanctuary; they share educational, meeting, and administrative spaces. The challenge posed to Walsh Architect was to give this early 1970s modernist building more of a church identity, to make its interior spaces more welcoming, as well as to provide new spaces for St. Matthew's expanding programs and outreach.
